Ag Fest is an Agricultural Festival that includes a large trade show held at the DeSoto County Turner Agri-Civic Center in Arcadia , FL. or s the oppor tunity to sell plus educate the public on their products and services.
So mark your calendar for November 19th, 2011; you are invited to be a part of a new exciting event in DeSoto County or our heritage through recognition of yesterday’s and today’s farmers and ranchers. Comprised of equipment and equestrian demonstrations, beef shows, livestock exhibits, local entertainment and vendor s, Ag Fest will be a day full of fun where friends and family can gather for good times and good memor ies. Come hungry and grab a plate at our steak and swamp cabbage cook off where teams compete, serving
up secret family recipes. After enjoying the festivities and count cooking those “in the know” will be sharpening their wits while earning CEU’s at the classes offered by our local University of Flor ida or two on old ways of canning your own garden vegetables. Come be a part of the festivities or relax and enjoy all that we have to offer, either way plan to stay for the entire day with 100 acres of activities, an air conditioned arena, barns and an exhibit hall you are sure not to be disappointed.
