Right of Way Permit Information and Application      culvert_pipe

All public streets are located on land that is called "right of way".  The right of way usually extends beyond the paved area of the street and can include sidewalks, driveways and utility lines.  A Right of Way Permit is required for any work to be accomplished in a public right of way.  The forms can be viewed below and are available at the DeSoto County Development Department, 201 East Oak Street, Suite 204, Arcadia, Florida, 34266.  The Hours of Operation are:  8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
