Lee Killmon

Lee Killmon is  the winner of our young Farmer /Rancher of the year award. He received a Golden Boy  22 Riffle which was donated by KJ Guns and Ammo , which is engraved to say Ag Fest 2011 Farmer and Rancher of the Year.

Lee is a row crop farmer, he has his own farm of 150 acres of watermelons in the spring and in the fall he has 60 acres of vegetables such as yellow squash, zucchini, and egg plant.

He was born and raised in DeSoto County and graduated from DeSoto High School. He is the son of Robbie & Trish Killmon and John & Marty Merritt. He is married to Ashley Martin Killmon who was here to accept the award on his behalf as he was working out of town and was unable to attend the Ag Fest Banquet on Friday night.
